Although I'm anxiously awaiting his next email at the moment, things have actually been moving on quite nicely. We've started emailing almost daily and it seems we're both willing to make an effort to be able to see each other, even on weekends where we've already got things planned. He also opened up for some deeper conversations about our relationship. It made me really happy. Partly because I was actually planning to do the same, but he beat me to it (great minds think alike). But also because it sort of felt like it took us one step further. Right now, I just have to hold on to that positive feeling, to prevent me from obsessing too much over the fact that I wrote him yesterday, before lunch, and he still hasn't returned my email!

Yesterday I read a few of my entries from two years ago, when I started this blog. I was taking the same course as I am now (reregistered because I really had no energy to focus on studying last time) and was very, very frustrated with my situation in life. I am so greatful that I'm not in that same place this time around.

But I still have to work hard and study and stay disciplined.

Was at the gym today when something depressing happened. I was feeling strong and motivated for the first half of the work out, but then suddenly it was like all my motivation and all the energy was drained from my body and I was unable to go on. Gave upp and went home, very disappointed with myself. I don't know why or what happened. Maybe I waited to long between sets, maybe it was the fact that I started thinking about a friend, who's been having some problems that he doesn't want to talk about, maybe I was simply hungry (started the work out just after noon, without having eaten lunch), maybe I'm not completely cured from the cold I've been fighting off the last couple of weeks. Whatever the reason, the feeling of helplessness was overwhelming. I'm usually stubborn enough to keep on going through hunger and fatigue once I've made up my mind.

It was actually a little comforting that when I got home I actually felt a little dizzy and very hungry. Made me think it might just be some temporary weakness caused by hunger. (Eventhough, I did have a big breakfast and a banana for a snack, and I usually make it through on less.)

Oh well. Tomorrow is a new day.
